Another Eastern Influences Card

Here's one more card that "appeared" - okay - so I put a little bit of effort into this one!  Once again, I watercolored but "popped" this one up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I placed the branch a bit off center so that it looks more like two branches - a little sponging around the edges to give the sky some color.  The birds ... I think they are so graceful.  Enjoy!

The card that started it all

Here it is, I finally dusted it off (from my files) and decided it really should go on my blog - the card that began this wonderful *mission* -

 My son's 40th birthday card - handcrafted by me and sent over to him in Iraq and it arrived in time for his birthday.  That was one year ago tomorrow.  I would have never imagined that one year later I would have this *mission* and be sending thousands of cards to the troops -

All because of one small request from my son for some handcrafted cards and he began sharing them with his buddies...

Just Playing around and this is what appeared!

Wow, I can't believe so many days have gone by without a single post from me!  Here is one card I've made, just playing around with a stamp set I fell in love with but didn't have time to use.  So I decided to break it out and create.  I hope you like it as much as I've enjoyed making it.   I love watercoloring with the watercolor crayons - and the Eastern Influences stamp set is PERFECT for watercoloring!  I believe that this just may be the perfect Mother's Day card.

I sure hope that I haven't left anyone out!  Without all of your help and support NONE of this would be possible.  I could not do this alone.

Here you go, an easy layout using the crimper.  Why don't I use this more often?  It is such a simple tool and creates such a nice card!
