Card Donations from Canada!

WOW!  I received a wonderful selections of cards in the mail for the troops from Canada!  This is a first - and I can now say that "From Our Hearts" has gone "INTERNATIONAL"!  What an honor to think that a stamper from another country would send cards in support of our troops.  I am humbled.
Here are a few of the lovely cards that were sent.  I don't have her first name - I only know she is from British Columbia.  This was a surprise to me when I opened my mailbox:

I think Canada's current in-colors are our last year's in-colors.  Oh, this takes me back to the Bayou!  I ADORE this card!

What a wonderful surprise to receive 100 cards, each handcrafted with care, matched with an SU! envelope and individually sealed in a clear, SU! envelope - ready to be put into one of the many Father's Day boxes that are getting ready to be shipped over to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan!

Administrative Assistant Day did not go unnoticed this year and what better way to express my gratitude to the several assistants who work for me that with a handcrafted box full of chocolate!
Made with the Big Shot Scallop die and Box die #2 (lid cut off), they were simple to create and quick to assemble.

STAMPIN' FROM THE HEART has been touched by two angels!

Yes, you are reading this correctly!  Stampin' From the Heart for the Troops has received two unexpected packages - one from a special angel in Canada and one that was left on my doorstep!  These are anonymous donors - I received 15 beautiful handcrafted cards and 3 cardfronts - just gorgeous!  And another dozen cards, carefully made.
Many, many cards are needed and these will be much appreciated by our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.  What a pleasant surprise to come home to find such unexpected gifts!

Bunco, take 2 - Congratulations to MORGAN, our new Bunco Queen!

Last Tuesday's Bunco night was such fun!  Much laughter, giggling, and of course, chocolate!  Congratulations to Morgan, our newest BUNCO QUEEN!  She won the $40 prize for the most Buncos and came away with some new stamp sets.  Most wins:  Taylor, , and Joyce came away with the next big win!

Every one was a winner - join us next month for an evening of dice throwing and a chance to win the FREE HOSTESS BENEFITS!  This month's winner:  Sandy!  Free stamps & SU! merchandise!

Of course, everyone came away winning something and door prizes, too - our winners were Helene and Peggy, both chose free stamp sets from my stash.

Technique club debuts with such creativity!

The club met today for the first time and wow, WOW!  What can I say?  They embraced stamping on tiles and learned quickly how easy this technique is to master.  From the stash of many choices of stamp sets and inks, many beautiful tiles emerged.  Here are a few:

Here is a very special card for a very special person.  And how timely that Stampin' Up! has come out with a stamp with a lawnmower on it!  I embossed the lawnmower, then watercolored using blender pens.
